Our course has been available in education for some months now and very well received by those working with vulnerable children and young people. What about those living with vulnerable children and young people too? Sometimes we need to take a step back and reflect on our child’s early experiences and what impact that may have now on their behaviour in all situations – whether at school or at home.
Understanding the needs of children and young people who’ve experienced early trauma is crucial to their success. Without this knowledge many children struggle to settle, to feel safe enough to be able to take risks and to trust those around them enough to be able to achieve and develop well.
So, whether you are an adoptive parent or carer, a birth parent of a vulnerable child or an interested party supporting those living with trauma – this course is for you.
As adoptive parents ourselves we understand the time constraints and the challenges with getting to a face to face course. This online course will help with that. You can work through these videos and exercises at your own pace and in your own time.
There are videos and resources available throughout this online course that will give you the fundamentals of Attachment Theory along with strategies to help and support those children and young people you live with.
This is an accredited course, and you can obtain your certificate on completion of the quizzes at the end of each module.
